Well I've been sick for the past 3 weeks. It was pretty awful. I had to go to the emergency room a couple of times and then I was finally able to get an appointment with my doc. The first visit to the civilian ER, I was told I had bronchospasm. The second visit to the MILITARY ER, I was told that I looked and sounded worse than I was and I just had a cold and I needed to drink a hot toddie, take some tylenol, a cough suppressant and get over it. I could hardly walk and I was pissed that this guy really didnt even look at me before telling me all this and sent me on my way with a measly cough suppressant that didnt even work. Several days later I finally got an appointment with my regular doctor and he said that no I didnt have a cold. I had some bronchitis and probably a touch of the flu along with a possible inner ear infection that he couldnt see but that since I could hear fluid in my ear it pretty much meant I had one. And on top of that he said I could barely walk because I had vertigo, due to the fluid in my ear. He said it could take days or even up to a month or so to get rid of. And of course, it happens while Matt is gone most of the month. He had to take a couple of days off work to help me out. But at least my doc gave me more medicine and properly examed and diagnosed me. The stuff for my vertigo makes me really tired. But it does help a lot.
Today was the first day in 3 weeks that I havent had vertigo and/or a headache. Today was a nice day, so I took the opportunity to let the kids play outside. We had a nice time. I attempted to clean the kitchen while cooking dinner tonight although I think all that I cleaned the kids messed up during dinner lol. But thats ok. Since Im feeling better we get to clean clean clean all weekend!
Austin had a play last week. I recorded it. He didnt have a big part and they had him standing off stage to the side. I couldnt get the whole performance in the picture and keep on screen too. So every once in awhile I had to cut off half the stage to get my baby in the picture. But thats ok. He had fun and he looked cute.
Monday or Tuesday I have an interview with the command master cheif and the CO of Matt's boat for the ombudsman position. Cross your fingers. I hope I get it. It will be good for all of us. I'll find out by March 31st if Im picked.
Anyways, thats all for now. I hope everyone is doing well.
