Busy Week

Things were crazy last week and are continuing on through next week. I've had something to do every single day, including the weekends. Im hoping I can get atleast one day next week to just sit and chill out. I did the vision screenings for the school on Thursday and Friday. It took the entire school day, both days. My wrist is starting to hurt from pointing at the symbols.

Thursday I had a party planning meeting with other moms from Austin's class. Im room mom so I have to get it done soon. His party is on the 28th. Going to walmart this evening to get everything.

Yesterday I made invitations and passed them out to friends for our Halloween Cookout we're having. We're having it around 4pm so we can eat and then take the kids trick or treating. But I'll probably stay back and hand out candy with Tristen because the mosquitoes are really bad, and it looks like he's allergic to them. One bit him near the eye and his entire eye swelled shut. Not much to do other than give him benadryl.

Last night I babysat for one of the other moms from Austin's class. Her babysitter just disappeared when she was supposed to be dropping off her kids. So I said I'd do it when she called at the last minute. She really needed a night out. But hey, I got paid 30 bucks for watching her 2 kids for a little over 3 hours. They were really good. And my friend next door and her hubby and kids came over too. They ordered pizza and brought it over and we watched a movie. So we had a full house last night.

This morning I got woke up at 7am by a barking dog. Crazy lady from across the street put her dog out on a leash and left him in the front yard to bark at passerby's and small animals. Its against housing rules to leave your animals unattended outside even if they are on a leash. And the dog wouldnt shut up, so I called security.

Today we are going to Adventure Landing for the USS Halyburton Halloween Party. I emailed the FSG to find out how much it would cost us and I was told that we only had to pay for food and that they had taken care of entrance fees. But then I just looked at the site today to see how to get there and you have to pay for every freaking activity like at Celebration Station! And its expensive! I hope they meant that we're getting to some of the activities for free too. Otherwise, we'll stay for a bit and leave.

Oh yeah...Some news on Austin...
In his class, at the end of the day, they have clips on different pockets depending on how well they behaved at school that day. Star is no problems. Tell, means she had to tell them a rule. Remind means she had to remind them of that rule. And Act, means she had to Act on it, or punish them...time out or something. At the beginning of the year, Austin mostly got Act and Remind. Then it slowly came to Tell and Remind with a few stars here and there. Well this month, so far, he's had 1 Act, 2 Tells and 12 stars. And this last week was the FIRST WEEK EVER to get ALL STARS! So we'll probably let him do something special today too. We are so proud of him! And he's doing better in school too. Report cards were supposed to come out friday, but the district had a problem. So hopefully we will get them next week. I'll let yall know how it looks!
