Labor Day Weekend

We had a pretty good weekend. Went to a BBQ on Saturday with some friends across the street. We bought some patio furniture from Home Depot. We thought this weekend was the kids craft at Home Depot but they changed it, so I guess we get to go back next Saturday. Thats ok, cuz we had to get some stuff from Home Depot anyway. We hadnt planned on buying the patio furniture this weekend, but the one we wanted was on display and it was the last one for the season. So we went ahead and bought it. We got a discount because it was display and one chair was missing. But we only needed 5 chairs anyway. We tore out the half dead garden. We put the patio furniture where the garden was and we will just get some potted plants. We are talking about sodding the yard since all of grass is pretty much dead. We'll see how much it costs and see if its even worth it. I think we'll be giving dad a call to see what he thinks since he's done it before.

Sunday and today we mostly cleaned and chilled out for a bit. We did have an incident today with the lady that lives across the street from us. She's a little off. She cussed me out and called me names because I wouldnt let her kid play in my house, but I let another kid play in my house. Sounds like her family has some issues. Plus I heard she's an alcoholic. But thats ok, because she showed her ass today and made it so that her kids can NEVER play with ours again. Long story, too much drama. On to better things!

Breanna has a hearing test tomorrow at the hospital. Part of her evaluation for speech therapy services. I found out that Austin's speech teacher at school might be able to do Breanna's speech therapy too. Im going to talk to her about it tomorrow too. Matt has duty again tomorrow. So it's an early day for all of us. We take him to work and then come home to get ready for school. Lots of PTA stuff to do tomorrow too. I need to have about 60 membership cards filled out and ready to pass out by the end of the week. My goal, not the PTA's. I hope I can make it.

Got some pics of Tristen. I need to get some of Austin and Breanna to post. I'll post those as soon as I get a chance tomorrow.
